IP Informer

Super basic lib to ensure the ip address configured in Google DNS is kept up to date with your ISP's dynamically assigned IP. Personally used while port forwarding through local router to ensure domain routing continued functioning during changes triggered by ISP.

Supports also sending a email to a configured address once an new IP address has been associated to the given domain.

Usage

How to integrate the lib depends on personal preference. Personal configuration involved simply configuring a cron job that ran the script periodically. Entrypoint when calling this way would be ip_informer.py
